About Us – Who are Pet Stop?
We are incredibly proud to be an award-winning, independent family-run pet shop based in Market Deeping, Lincolnshire (near Peterborough & Stamford) opened since 2017.
The whole team are really passionate about pets and have over 25 years of combined experience in pet care.
We’re not just a pet shop, we’re a pet family. For us it’s not a good day if we haven’t been on the floor cuddling at least one dog!
Our friendly, honest advice is simply what we are about. We’re here to listen to what you and your pet needs and then we can guide you and what products will be suitable. If we think your dog will destroy an expensive bed, we will advise you on an alternative option.
Paula is passionate about new stock and is always on the look out for new toys to keep your pets happy, to new beds, coats, harnesses, leads and more.
We have our own brand of Dry Food, Wet Food and Treats to offer a competitive option to leading brands we also stock.
We have one of the largest ranges of harnesses in our region and offer a dedicated harness fitting service for free.

After one year in business Pet Stop was named Retailer of the Year at the 2018 Deeping Business Awards and the winner of Outstanding Customer Service in 2020.
2020 Pet Stop were in the final five of the National Pet Industry Federation Awards. (See what happened 3 years later below!)
2022 We won a local business award for Best Customer Service, Best Retailer and Overall Best Business.
2023 the highest accolade was achieved as we won Best UK Independent Pet Retailer at the national (PIF) Pet Industry Federation Awards!

MEET THE TEAM
Paula, the owner, has over 20 years in Pet retail. She has a Distinction in City & Guilds Pet Store Management and OATA aquatics qualifications. She is also a trained microchipper and a companion animal SQP. Her cheeky cocker spaniel Wilson can often be found in store too.
Kim, has over 10 years experience. She has a First Diploma and a National Diploma in Animal Management and is usually the one found on the floor giving out cuddles. Kim had a beautiful Australian cattle dog called Ozzy.
Gemma has an HND in animal management and is a fully trained groomer. If you have any questions about brushes, shampoos etc then she is your lady. She has 2 Huskies called Andromeda & Hera
Megan has a national extended diploma level 3 in animal management and a higher national diploma level 5 in animal management. Meg also has 2 dogs, Daisy and Miya.
Charlotte has a dog called Yoshi, she is also cat mad and rescues hamsters, giving them the best home.
